Hope Elite

Hope Vitality !

It was wonderful to see the event kicked off in the church with a wonderful spread for lunch. The elites ate and mingled with each other in anticipation of the upcoming activities for the day.

The first destination was Noah Ark where elites were grouped and put to the challenge of completing some rope obstacles. The elites had to go up in pair and support each other on the way up. It was great to see the others on the ground, cheering and supporting them. Everyone was engaged. Most of the elites tried out the obstacles and were satisfied to whatever level they completed.

After the workout, all proceed to a room to share the experience on the activities. Everyone was reminiscing the details of events with joy. Then moved onto the “Big television” activities, where each group sent up a representative to give clues to the team in different languages or through their action. It was an eye-opener to see elites displaying all their hidden talents to communicate effectively with their teammates.

After all the fun and laughter, it was time to move on to share on the inner thoughts of the strengths and weakness of being an eilte. Praise God that everyone was open about it and there were a variety of challenges shared, but all elites were certain that the strength was having Jesus in our lives.

The best was yet to come, special speakers were invited to share with different areas of their life. First, bro Wai Hong and sis Elaine shared about their challenges in moving from an elite to being a couple, and now with a baby. Bro Wai Hong shared on how God had prepared him and how they see things from God point of views that has changed the weakness to strength. Then, Sis Kat shared from the perspective of being an elite. Her focus was on understanding the source of Joy and trusting God in all areas of her life. To know who we are and what we had already in Christ.

It was also a privilege to have Pastor Gavin to join the event, He reinstated that this event was to help elites of different groups know each other better. Thus he would like elites to ask him questions. During the Q & A session, Pastor shared about his work and how his life surrounds God. Being Christ conscious, he said that it was not a struggle to make decisions. Through the years of building the church along with his team, he saw himself being built up by God in character and Spirit. Focusing on God had led him to build a close relationship with his children despite all the commitments he had. Pastor Gavin encouraged all again that we would definitely meet challenges in life and we had to keep trusting the Lord. He prayed that every elite would build a closer relationship with God and rise up in faith.

Thank God for this wonderful event !

Let’s keep seeking God,keep growing,

be strengthened, and work together to fulfill His great commission !
