Praise the Lord for the wonderful day!

Water Baptism # 1 was held on 31 March 2013 Easter Sunday, a total of 28 brothers and sisters were water baptized, while more than 100 brothers and sisters and friends celebrated with them.

Joyous cheers, and singing penetrated the air of Repulse Bay. Under drizzles of blessings, Pastor Gavin shared the meaning of water baptism, which is an action of faith, an outward action to declare we follow Jesus. Submerse into and raise again from water symbolized the dying of our old selves and gaining a new life in Christ.

Praise God that these brothers and sisters accepted Christ as their personal savior and willing to follow Him and take action to declare their determination. Pastor then led the whole congregation to pray for them and presented the baptism certificates.

Praise the Lord for the new members of God’s kingdom and we all believe that a bigger harvest is coming!
