Water Baptism III
October 13, 2013
“This is the day that the Lord has made!”
Blessed with a beautiful, sunny, breezy day, 25 brothers and sisters were ready to publicly acknowledge Christ through water baptism. Many brothers and sisters came to support this encouraging event.
Brother Jack led the opening prayer, followed by SD1 sisters leading the congregation to praise the Lord. The air was filled with joyful songs.
Brother Allen reaffirmed the importance and meaning of baptism and why a full submersion followed by rising from the water. He also states that when we willingly submit and follow God’s teaching in the Bible, God’s blessing will fall abundantly in all aspects of our lives. After the simple sharing, we prayed for them then Pastor Gavin presented the baptism certificate, followed by the baptism itself.
After the baptism, the respective units blessed brothers and sisters with prayers and a small token of love. The celebration was continued in high spirit and joy.
Praise the Lord for all the wonderful new creations !
