Christmas Celebration

The birth of Jesus Christ is the actualisation of God’s promises to His beloved people.

On 21 December 2014 (Sun), brothers, sisters and friends gathered at the Hope Centre for the Celebration. Following the opening,it came the powerful and joyful praise and worship.

Then brothers and sisters sat down for the video testimony, during which Sister Krista (SD2), Sister Lea (SD1) and Brother KT (SD2) shared how God transformed their lives in the workplace and families, how God miraculously blessed their lives beyond their imagination, and how God revealed His goodness in their ministry. It is truly amazing to see how God opened the paths to them and encouraged the others.

Then it came the Children Church performance.The little children, beloved by both God and the congregation, sang a Christmas song to signify the promises of God. It was followed by the Youth P & W team in singing the song of “Promises”, and the gifts were distributed to the congregation.

Pastor Gavin then shared the sermon from Romans 4:13. Through explaining how God promised and blessed Abraham, Pastor encouraged all of us that Jesus Christ is the true beneficiary of God’s promises, and that through Him in our lives will His promises be fully actualised and fulfilled. Pastor also reminded the congregation of the importance of evangelism and our relationship with God, which is to focus on the Goodness of God, rather than the rights and wrongs of people based on legalistic viewpoints . Pastor also ministered to the congregation and declared that the victory and healing of Jesus has already been upon those who believe.

Praise the Lord that a total of 16 accepted Christ as their personal Saviour !
