Annual Church Camp 2021

March 6-7, 2021

Praise God !

After a wait for 1 year, our camp “Life Put on the Holiness of Christ” had finally arrived.

Though we were not able to meet physically, we were connected through His Words with different forms of interaction. This year we had a very fruitful agenda with our speakers Pastor Gavin, Pastor Arlene, sis Ivy, sis Pik Sai, sis Janelle, sis Lolita, sis Katherine and sis Rosanna.

They brought us to understand deeper into the four areas: chosen generation, royal priesthood, holy nation and His own special people. The 4 areas were extracted from our theme bible verse 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Holy nation – Our Position in the World
His Own Special People – Our Position in His Heart

Before the camp, we already started meditasting His Words, preparing our hearts and sharing our thoughts through the Padlet for 7 days. Bible verses and questions were from the camp teaching. This gives us opportunity to have a personal inquiry with God in understanding His Words.

During the camp we had our live Praise and Worship at the beginning of each day and it was so refreshing to feel the closeness with Jesus, receiving His love and grace in the midst of it. In between the sessions we had interaction section consisting of quizzes, games, craft and exercises to keep us involved and creating the fun and excitement atmosphere. At the end of each day every group connected and shared their reflection for the day, motivating each other on.

There were so many takes from the teaching. As a chosen generation, God never changed His love and covenant for us. He personally brought us back to Him. Given the title of a Royal priesthood, we are anointed and given the authority of our faith in Him.

Believe and receive. As a Holy nation, we are to bring people back to God, standing against the distractions of the world. Being His own Special people, we need to seek to understand His love for us before we can minister to others. We believe that there are so much more that we had received from the camp. Thank God that we are able to go back and watch the youtube recording for this week.

Let’s continue to feed on His Words and let our Life Put on the Holiness of Christ.
