Baby Dedication 獻嬰禮 2025

Praise the Lord for His grace ! We are delighted to celebrate the Baby Dedication at Hope Oasis in 2025 !

Today, we witnessed 3 blessed couples dedicating their children to the Lord:

1. Jay and Edith, with their son Jace
2. Paul and Mia, with their son Asher
3. Alex and Ally, with their son Ainok

Pastor Gavin shared the significance of baby dedication, emphasizing its importance for parents who acknowledge God’s sovereignty over their children. He recapitulated the well-known saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” reminding us that raising children in the right way requires love and support from a community. As a family of God, brothers and sisters play a vital role in influencing and nurturing these children in a godly manner.

The participating parents and their children were then invited onto the stage. The mothers signed the dedication certificates first, followed by the fathers, marking this important commitment. A video was shown, featuring moments from the Baby Dedication Briefing held 2 weeks prior and the warm interactions among the parents and their children. The Bible verse “Children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him” in Psalm 127:3 was proclaimed by the parents. This reinforced their faith in raising the children under God’s guidance and relying on Him for wisdom and strength. As a meaningful final step of the briefing, each family created palm prints and footprints as a symbolic affirmation of their dedication.

Afterwards, Pastor Gavin signed the certificates and took group photos with the families to commemorate this special day. He then led the congregation in prayer, committing the children into God’s hands and praying for God’s divine blessing, protection, and presence upon each family. With the covering of Jesus Christ’s blood, the children would grow strong and healthy, receiving biblical guidance from their parents and support from the whole family of God. The ceremony concluded in a joyful atmosphere.

Thank God for this wonderful moment ! As a family in Christ, let us continue to walk in faith and grow stronger together in Him !

感謝神的恩典！我們滿心歡喜地在「希望綠洲」舉行了2025年獻嬰禮！

今天，我們見證了三對蒙福的夫妻將他們的孩子交托給主：

1. Jay 和 Edith，與他們的兒子 曉揚
2. Paul 和 Mia，與他們的兒子 志諺
3. Alex 和 Ally，與他們的兒子 子諾

卓成發牧師分享了獻嬰禮的意義，強調這是父母願意交托他們的孩子給神掌管的重要時刻。他提及了一句著名的諺語：「養育一個孩子需要整個村莊的力量」，提醒我們要以正確方式養育孩子，也需要群體的愛與支持。作為神的家人，我們擔當著重要的角色，因弟兄姊妹帶著敬畏神的心能影響和培育這些孩子。

隨後參與的父母和孩子們被邀請上台。父母們先後簽署獻嬰禮證書，這標誌著重要的承諾。接著現場播放了一段影片，展示兩週前獻嬰禮簡介會的溫馨時刻，以及父母與孩子們的溫馨互動。父母們宣告詩篇127:3的經文：「兒女是耶和華所賜的產業，所懷的胎是祂所給的賞賜」，以此堅固他們的信心，在神引導下養育孩子、倚靠神得智慧和力量。在簡介會壓軸的環節，每個家庭都製作了手腳印畫，象徵著他們確認把孩子交托給神。

及後，牧師簽署證書並與家庭合影，紀念這個特別的日子。他帶領會眾一起禱告，將孩子們交託在神手中，禱告神的祝福、保護與同在臨到每個家庭。在耶穌基督寶血的遮蓋下，這些孩子將健康強壯地成長，從父母那裡得著聖經的教導，並獲得神家裡的弟兄姊妹支持。整個獻嬰禮在喜樂的氛圍中圓滿結束。
