Annual Camp 2025

After five years of anticipation, the Hope of God Church embarked on our Church camp at an actual campsite, marking a significant milestone in our spiritual journey. Themed “Life Adventure – Possess it!” inspired by Joshua 7:10 and 13a, this year marked our annual camp, filled with teachings on spiritual growth and the pursuit of God’s blessings.

Guided by Pastor Gavin’s wisdom, the camp delved deep into the essence of rising from complacency and embracing sanctification. Through engaging workshops, heartfelt prayers, and meaningful discussions, participants explored the parallels between the Israelites’ conquests and their personal spiritual battles. Interactive sessions, including dance, added a joyful and communal element to our learning, enhancing our understanding of the transformative journey we were on.

Worship sessions were integral to our camp experience, serving as moments of spiritual connection and reverence. Through uplifting songs and heartfelt prayers, we immersed ourselves in worship, deepening our relationship with God and reinforcing the teachings shared during the camp. These worship times provided a sacred space for reflection and spiritual renewal, allowing us to draw closer to the divine presence.

As we embraced the teachings shared during the worship sessions and interactive workshops, we were reminded of the significance of humility, repentance, and reliance on God’s strength in our spiritual pursuits. The camp provided a sacred space for introspection, allowing us to confront our inner struggles and barriers to embracing God’s blessings fully. The special activities at the end of the camp facilitated profound reflections on the lessons learned, empowering us to carry these teachings forward in our daily lives. Philippians 3:13-14 but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
