Sharing God’s Love (派福袋)
May 2, 2026
Praise God for such wonderful weather. Brothers and sisters gathered at church at 8:45am to pack the love gift bags.
A total of 11 of us participated. We went out in twos or threes, just as Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 says: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls, one can help the other up.” Before we left around 10:00am, we prayed together. Our destination was the estates across from our church—Kwai Hing and Kwai Fong Estates. Each of us carried five love gift bags to give away.
The weather was perfect—no rain, no scorching sun, just a cool breeze. In the park, many elderly were sitting around or doing exercises. They were kind and approachable.
Our goal was not to rush, but to share love and care and to pray for them. We took time to chat, then invited them to our event on May 16. Praise the Lord—three elders accepted Christ ! It was especially encouraging when we told Grandma Chan, “Jesus loves you,” and she replied, “He loves us.”
We look forward to seeing them at our upcoming event, “Joyful Elders” (樂在耆中), on Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hope Oasis.
Thank you Jesus for guiding our steps and filling our words with His love ! May we continue to walk faithfully with Him, spreading love and care to our community as 1 John 4:19 declares: “We love because He first loved us.”
