Water Baptism I

In response to God’s love with a grateful heart, 41 brothers and sisters made their decision to glorify God on this special day, Easter Sunday.

Over 180 brothers and sisters showed their love and support, enjoying the blessings too.

After a simple opening prayer, lovely voices of praises filled the air .

Pastor shared the message of Jesus’s death, carrying all curses and our sins upon Him on the cross, proclaiming “it is finished”, and all sins are forgiven.

And 3 days later, resurrected, signifying all sins buried in the tomb.

In water baptism, when immersed into the water, all sins are buried into the water and, when raised, all past were left behind, becoming a new creation through God’s grace.  The old is gone and the new has come.

Praise God for their decision to follow Christ for the rest of their lives.

In the water, two questions were asked : had f they accepted Christ and, whatever the situation or changes might be, would they still choose to follow Christ.  Upon confirmation, they were then baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Thanks God for all the new creations.

May all glory and honour be unto the Lord, the one and only name who gives salvation.
