In November 2013, Typhoon Yolanda landed on Philippines and left thousands homeless and took away lives. Some of our Philippines sisters and people whom we got to know through our Medical Relief were affected and our Church called for donations of clothes, dried food, containers etc.

Almost all of our church members in Hong Kong responded immediately and brought in bags and bags of donations and some even got friends, family to join this move. Through the effort of our brothers and sisters, two schools and one hotel in HK also sent in their uesd toys, can food and materials to contribute to the typhoon relief region program.  His blessings are overflowing.

It’s God’s passion and our heart desire to care for the needy.  Together help to build more friendly community here in HK and aboard.  It was a wonderful moment that everyone putting God’s love in action.  A total of 30 big boxes were collected and sent to Roxas City.

A team of HK brothers and sisters then flew to Roxas to bring forth our blessings, support and distribute the reliefs. They were welcomed and received warmly by the people there. In total, 8 villages and 1 school received the donation.  Many of them received God’s grace and love with joyful heart.  We believe that His love will heal them, give them hope and strength to rebuild what was lost.
