Testimonies of the Annual Camp – Part 4

March 7, 2014

Praise the Lord for our 2014 Annual Camp — “Life Realized it”. The 3 days passed so quickly, all of us were touched by the presence of the Lord and Pastor Gavin shepherd heart for God’s people. We enjoyed every moment and learnt a lot through the teachings, Hope games and activities. We believe that this is the church that God has given us. All of us are in His Plan and we are chosen to be the kingly priesthood to influence the world with His love and grace.

To give a recap of the highlights, here are the wonderful testimonies by some of us.

May all glory and how our be unto our Lord Jesus Christ.

Testimony :

Glory to God in the highest!  For me I felt so blessed because this was my first time to attend the annual camp. Even it was only for a day but I was so happy and thankful to God because He touches the heart of my employer. I was able to leave the house early because my employer knew I would attend the camp for the first time.

For me as a disciple of Jesus and as I continue to trust and believe in Him, the Lord makes me even stronger to face challenges and trials in life. He is always there to guide me, I always pray to God that as I continue to seek Him He will make me a better person and I know that as I delight myself in Him, He will give me the desires of my heart. And I also believe that as I seek Him more and draw closer to Him, I will gain more knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.

I also want to thank God because He loves me so much that He gave me a good employer that treats me as one of their family. And it gives me joy in my heart that even though I am far away from my family, but I have extended family through my employer and the Church, Hope of God Church. All the glory belongs to Jesus!

Praise God!

God fulfill His promises in such a way a human mind can’t comprehend. A week before the camp I struggled about the time schedule. Fear exists, doubt interferes, I have been fully pre-occupied with the thought whether my employer will allow me to leave that early but as I call God’s comfort He never fails me. The night before the camp with courage and strength that God had given me, God touched the heart of my employer. She allowed me to leave as early as 6:30 in the morning.

Thoughts are the notorious enemy of faith. It’s the battle of the mind over the situations, wherein your beliefs, spiritual strength will be tested. My thoughts that time telling me not to go, but God reminded me I have sheeps that are counting on my presence on that day. I never hesitated to obey and do my responsibility to take care of my sheeps and God made miracles in unexpected way. I never had conflicts to the schedules I had set ahead of time that day. Praise God, I accomplished all the things without compromising the camp. At this point of time I just received God’s blessing that no mind could ever imagine. Thank you God.

Testimony

Praise God! Having attended the two day camp, I learned a lot and strengthen my faith as I continue to follow, obey and take care of the people that He entrusted to me.

I realized that I live because of God’s purpose in my life. In whatever I do, I always depend on Him, be humble before Him and whatever circumstances, I will always focus on Him. My life’s purpose is to do the mission that God has given in the Great Commission, to be the salt and light to the people to share His love and how much He loves me to the people who don’t know Him yet, because in God’s story, in His mind, He created each one of us to be His own.

All the glory and thanksgiving belong to Him. Amen.

I really thank God that my employer allowed me to join the camp for 2 days even though it was a last minute decision from them.

I was really full of joy and so touched learning just how much God loves me, and how His salvation plan was so intended for me and for the entire humanity.

Everything in this annual camp is just excellent from the teaching, praise and worship, workshop and Hope Sport. I really thank God for every opportunity He has given me to be part of this camp. I thank God for His abundant love for me and for all the things He has done in my life.

All glory and praises belong to our Almighty Father.

Testimony :

During the camp I learned a lot from the teachings although we have only time limitations in every lesson.

I learned the following during the camp:

1)         God created each one of us that all things comes from the Father

2)         The purpose why we live here on earth is to give glory to the one who created us.

3)         Since the beginning of the world (creations), God shows His unfailing love to us not only to the Jews but also the Gentiles.

4)         Darkness cannot rule or defeat against the light. Light that Jesus brings to us. We are made specially by the Lord (Human being)

5)         God died for us to redeem us from sins. And if we obey the Lord He will make us a great nations.

6)         The Lord is the alpha and the omega, meaning the beginning and the end.

7)          God uses different kings and priests to rule the nations. He also shows His power to those who believed and trust in Him.

8)         God uses the nation (Israel) as an example like us. We are the salt and light of the world. He blessed this nation with great wealth and possessions.

9)         As a child of God (born again) we are the chosen people of God. Came from darkness into light.

10)     God’s mission is a mission of His love (He first loves us)

11)     Through grace we are saved.

The following are the areas of my life that has changed after the camp.

1)         Sudden temper

2)         Continue to trust in Him more (lack of trust sometimes)

3)         Prayer times, devotional times (because sometimes I spend only few hours in it)

Testimony :

This year’s teaching in the camp is really an inspiring and motivating one. Every year it just gets better and better. I was blessed at how God really love us. After learning so much about God, during this camp, it just inspires me to serve Him more. It is really overwhelming to know that even before we are created God knew already His plan for us. It is uplifting to know that we are in this mission, in this story, an unchanging story at that, that in every word of God, there is a deeper meaning and purpose in our life. I really felt blessed that I am not a virgin, not a concubine but that I am a Queen who shares the intimacy and the throne of Jesus. Hallelujah! What an honor and a privilege it is to be part of this great mission and perfect plan of God. And for this reason, I was so excited to serve Him more and share this story to the world that Jesus is the ULTIMATE REASON why we are here today, why we are created and why we are a part of this perfect will. Jesus came on earth to die so that we can live.

I really thank God for the annual camp. I learn to depend more on God. I learn to lean on His promises, and wait for His perfect plan for me.

I learn to depend more on God, not in my own understanding and in my own will. His plan is greater than mine.

Testimony :

I gave my great thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ for it is by His grace and His favor for me to attend two days in the camp. I truly believe that this church is a Holy Nation. I find the peace of God in our Church, the joy I believe that we have no reason not to be united. The language is not the reason, the citizenship is not reason, but because of the joy the Lord is with us, we have one goal and one spirit to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and to know Him more! I realize that His love continually embraces me. I feel the love of God in this family. I believe that our God loves me so much because through His world He revealed the weaknesses I have and I thank God just then when I pray and repent Hs gave me a heart that is willing to change into the person that God wants me to be. God spoke to me through the life of Queen Esther, and God gave me a heart that is willing to change into the way He wants me to be, strong physically and spiritually.

Testimony :

This camp is full of joy and love. My heart is overflowing when I know how God loves His people to sacrifice His life for us that every story of life is part of God’s story. How great is our God.

I am so blessed to have God in my life and to have a compassion heart to serve people. I want to be like Christ that has a big heart for others.

As I grow in the Lord, I want to be the salt and the light for other people and help them to grow in their spiritual walk. In life, every little things or big thing that you want to do, you need to depend on God and all of these things will be fulfilled in God’s time.

In this camp, I have realized not to live in my past with regret, not to live in the future with worry but to live in the present will full of joy and love of God. Because I know God is always with me. He is faithful to His promises.

Now I look forward for next year’s camp with full of blessing, love, success, victory and more souls to join us, to know more about Christ Jesus and accept Him as their personal savior.

Glory to God!
