Year-End Prayer Meeting and Countdown

There is nothing like a family coming together with a thanksgiving heart to reflect and count our blessings together.

At 9pm, we gathered together and had a spirit-filled praise and worship in the presence of the Lord. Every word in the lyrics reminded us that He had brought us through every challenge victoriously upon HIS grace.

Ps. Gavin led us in par-taking our last communion in 2013 and he continued in thanksgiving prayer and blessed the congregation with prayers in every aspect such as spiritual life, relationship, health, family and finance. In the beginning of the year, during our camp, our theme was ‘Life act on it’, which was all about living a life upon God’s leading. Through the year, we really see breakthrough in every aspect when we believed and received.  Altogether we had almost 13,000 new believers through the year in HK and in mission fields. This was an amazing record that happened through humility and faith in action.

Pastor encouraged that in 2014, we must break forward and carrying on to have a close relationship with God, holding HIS hands tightly, appreciate people around us and hugging on. Not the least to live out Jesus in our lives. Then it came the time of testimonies:Sister Lolita testified God’s goodness as she simply believed and responded to God’s calling for mission,she was blessed with the promotion in her work. Sister Gloria shared how the whole unit was united in going for mission together and then had God’s great blessing in their lives. Sister Kat shared about how she learned to obey her leaders and saw that serving God is so enjoyable. He leads and we follow!

We prayed for elevated believe and submissiveness in the coming year that all of us will respond to God’s calling to mission work to build people.

2013 was a tremendous mark of God’s blessings. With praise and worship, we counted down to welcome a new and wonderful year of 2014. We sang and danced, embracing each other in love and remembering that we will live out a life of smile, care and love to spread God’s love to all.
