Worship Revival

It is time again for our Worship Revival !

The theme is I Stand. Brothers and sisters gathered at Hope Centre in anticipation of a night of Worship. The evening started with a series of Praises and Worship led by Bro Allen.

Everyone was jumping, raising their hands as they lift the Name of Jesus. They seemed to have slipped into “heaven”, having the taste of the freedom, joy and restoration. No longer bounded by their thoughts and burden,the congregation started to experience this overwhelming love of God.

Then the congregation was led into the Musical Song of songs. It tells the story of a Shulamite woman who expressed her desire to be loved though she saw herself dark and unworthy.  Then handsome shepherd came and he was enraptured with her and she gave him her heart. The romance strengthened as he described her beauty in his eyes. But as she looked into her unloveliness she decided to turn away from Him. When she finally realized her love for him, and understand that love was not a mere feeling but it was beholding His love and mercy.  Her lover (who had never left her) appeared as a King. His love for her had never changed.  As all come together for the wedding feast, declaring the  essence of true love: Love is as relentless and jealous as death and the grave, and cannot be quenched by any force. Anyone with an attempt to exchange love with his treasures is only despising love…

At the end of the touching musical, Pastor Gavin shared, relating us as the bride of Jesus Christ.  In His eyes we are His beloveds and He loves us not because of what we had done and it is purely His grace for us. Pastor Gavin then invited the congregation to come forward to receive healing in all aspect of our lives.

Praise God ! This act of faith to received had brought everyone deeper into experiencing His Love. To add on to the celebration, a visitor decided to dedicate her life to God!

This exhilarating joy goes on as we continue to praise Jesus with a “NEW” self  with a renew love, a renew understanding of His Grace ! Let our live continue to worship Him every moment , wherever we are, whatever we do to receive more and more from Him!
