Worship Revival

Oct 02, 2016

By the touch of His love and grace, through the powerful praise and worship, Worship Revival 2016 had kicked off and the revival was going on in the hearts of the people. The highlight of the evening was our very own musical .

The focus on the musical was on God’s love and grace for us extracted from Genesis 22:1-19. Abraham, the father of Faith was blessed with a son in his old age. He was instructed by God to bring his son Issac to make an burnt offering to God on the mountains in the Land of Moriah. Abraham was willing to put God first and trust in God even when he thought that Isaac was to be sacrificed. Genesis 22:12-13 NKJV [12] And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” [13] Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

Everyone was touched in the musical when “Jesus” came into the musical as part of the cast, whipped and nailed on the cross. Having visually witness the suffering Jesus had to bear for us and Abraham’s love for Isaac, we were reminded how great God’s love is for us.

He sent His one and only son to die for sinners like us.

While the congregation was still immersed in God’s grace, Pastor Gavin encouraged all to come before the Lord and receive love and grace that was given through Jesus. Everyone responded and were touched, tears of thanksgiving just rolled down uncontrollably. They renewed their faith, received healing and blessings again in their life, and finding the abundance that was given through Jesus. After the prayers and blessings, the evening continued with the whole congregation praising God!

Worship was revived again in each and every one of us !

Let’s continue to worship Him in Spirit and Truth everyday of our lives and enjoy His presence!
