Youth 17^th Anniversary

Praise the Lord for the Youth 17th Anniversary Celebration !

This year is our last anniversary celebration in youth service. It’s a milestone for Youth, we all testify Youth’s growth from beginning till now. And we are going to be 18 next year, very commemorative for Youth, as this year we will combine to Cantonese Sunday service after we move to the new venue.

We started with a Praise and Worship, it was spirit-filled and we all enjoyed this acoustic. Then sister Hagrid and sister Nicole Pang shared their testimony. They gave thanks to God who led, helped, and encouraged them in leading care groups. God is good and faithful, He is always our refuge and strength, always helpful whenever we face challenges, and we have peace by relying on Him.

Then Pastor Gavin preached the Book of Joshua 1:10-11. Pastor shared the vision of the church for coming 3 years. We believe that we are the generation of Joshua, God will lead our entire church to experience His love and abundant grace.And we explore the life adventure which God prepared for us. During this journey, we will grow in the leading our Lord and also encourage and support each other.

After the preaching, we had a special sharing time. We divided by care group and discussed our care group’s mission in 2023. We based on 4 areas – spiritual, evangelism, individual growth, and care group growth to plan for it. It was a wonderful time and we were all excited to plan and share. And we prayed for God’s leading and to have good results of it too. After that, we had a group photo and packed some cupcakes home.

Praise God for all the blessings and we were all excited about the new journey of the Youth and the whole church !
