Blood Donation 2024

Thank God for His wonderful leading ! With the efforts of the Red Cross, the blood donation event that took place at Hope Oasis on this day achieved 54 successful donations !

During the lunch hour, the Care Team started setting up the registration counter at Social Hub. At the same time, the Red Cross team arrived to set up the equipment in Hall 2 and the adjacent room, which were transformed into a blood donation center with total 8 blood giving beds. This also included the areas for filling out health questionnaires, testing hemoglobin levels, and conducting pre-donation interviews.

The event began sharply at 2:00pm. Participating brothers and sisters, along with their family members and friends, continued to flow in. A couple of walk-in blood donors were attracted and gave their blood after reading the posters at the ground floor lift lobby. Later, members of the Love Group also joined after their afternoon service, further increasing the number of donations. Successful donors got rest and enjoyed the time being together at Social Hub with light refreshment. The event concluded around 6:30pm.

This year marked another memorable milestone. It was a high record as compared to the recent years. Eventually, over 60 registrations and 54 successful donations were recorded, echoing the message from Acts 20:35 – it is more blessed to give than to receive.
