Youth 15th Anniversary

January 23, 2021

Praise the Lord !

We had a very special Youth 15th Anniversary Celebration this year!

Due to the COVID19, brothers and sisters gathered online for the Youth Anniversary Celebration. Although we could not meet physically in church, we had some interaction with small groups at home.

Our theme of this year is “Ready to take off, for Christ in action” (穩守突擊,隨基應變).

Thanks lots of wonderful brothers and sisters who prerecorded different parts of the service and made the service smooth and complete. At the beginning of the service, we prayed for the church and prepared our heart. Then we watched a wonderful video which showed old photos of all youth brothers and sisters in the 15 years. They were really great memories and fun.

In the spirit-filled Praise and Worship, we all enjoyed and were touched. And we thank God for His presence and guidance in the past 15 years.

We had a wonderful testimony from brother Andy, Bear and Lawrence. They shared their testimonies of when and why they accepted Jesus Christ and how they had grown in the church, which really encouraged us. Then sister Ivy preached on the Book of Isaiah 48:17. Through the sermon, we understood the ways of standing firm in God, trusting Him and letting the Holy Spirit guide us to walk with Him in every situation.

In this year, we want to build our foundation in God by His words, prayer and trust in Him. We prayed for brothers and sisters to have a vibrant heart and be on guard, not only having knowledge, but also the willingness and actions to follow the Holy spirit’s leading.

After the preaching, we had the celebration moment with the help of technology. Some brothers and sisters prepared the birthday cake, champagne and food, and we cheered and played some games. Although we could not meet physically, we could see all the smiley faces and really enjoyed the celebration.

Thank God for His Grace and we all had a meaningful and joyful Anniversary Celebration!

Let’s keep following Jesus and be built up in Him.
