Water Baptism III

Praise the Lord for the wonderful day !

Water Baptism # 3 was held successfully on 14 Oct, a total 17 brothers and sisters were water baptized, while more than 100 brothers and sisters and friends joined the celebration together.

Ceremony kicked off with a prayer led by brother Jack, following a joyful praise led by SD3. After that, Pastor Gavin shared the meaning of water baptism, which is an action of faith, an outward action to declare we follow Jesus. Submerse into and raise again from water symbolized the dying of our oldselves and gaining a new life in Christ. Pastor than invited those brothers and sisters who were going to be water baptized to stand up and led the whole congregation to pray for them and presented the baptism certificates.

Water baptism started when participants started walking into the water and being baptized one by one by Pastor Gavin, while brother Tony and brother Jack provided assistance.

Ceremony continued with other brothers and sisters kept on singing praise songs as a support. Brothers and sisters who were water baptized were congratulated by other brothers and sisters and friends and the whole event finished smoothly under joyful atmosphere.

Praise God that these brothers and sisters accepted Christ as their personal saviour and willing to follow Him and take action to declare their determination. Praise the Lord for the new members of God’s kingdom and surely there will be more to come !
