Father’s Day

Praise God for Father’s Day. It is wonderful to see more and more fathers joining the celebration. They all enjoyed taking photos with their families at the beautifully designed photo corner.

With an opening prayer and Spirit filled praise and worship, the congregation was filled with gratitude and joy.

Brother Pong testified of how He was blessed through his father’s experience with Christ. Pong’s father was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2012. God revealed Himself to his father in a dream where Pong’s father received Christ. Even though when Pong’s father went with the Lord, God’s love brought hope and peace to bro Pong. Brother Pong received Christ as he felt God’s Fatherly love too. God’s blessings upon his life and his family were abundant.

Sisters presented a song to fathers and thanked them for their love. Fathers were invited to stage for photography and children church presented gifts to them. Pastor Gavin blessed them with prayers.

Pastor Gavin shared Matthew 7:11 bringing out that message of our Heavenly Father’s sacrificial love for us. He encouraged fathers to love their family with the love of God. The message was titled ‘See the Father’s love for you’ stating the best gift of the Father and the Father’s gift for those who ask by faith. The prodigal son was used as an example to show how much God desire for us to come to Him.

When the service ended, fathers were treated with the homemade desserts and tea. The atmosphere was joyful and those who have not taken photos proceeded to take them.
