Youth Galaxy Outing

Oct 10, 2026

Praise the Lord ! On Saturday, 10 October 2026, at 1:30pm, 23 brothers and sisters and their friends gathered for a fruitful Galaxy Outing in Tsuen Wan themed around “謎途有袮”. Through a series of games, everyone gained a deeper understanding of God and learned to place their trust in Him during times of uncertainty.

After the briefing session, participants were divided into four groups and took on the role of “angels” to seek lost souls across four areas of Tsuen Wan. Each group had two hours to solve mysterious tasks inside four envelopes — decoding Morse code for GPS coordinates, searching for the humanoid figure, decoding keyboard ciphers, and matching lamppost numbers. Groups took a photo at each checkpoint upon solving a task, with optional hints available at the cost of a time penalty.

Following the game, brothers Andy and Anson led a debriefing session at the clubhouse at 4:30pm, sharing the key messages behind the game:

• God as our light: Just as a lamppost guides our path, God lights our steps when we face uncertainty;
• Trust over struggle: Rather than struggling in our own strength, trust that God already knows the way to our next destination;
• The good shepherd: We were all once lost, but like a good shepherd, God will never forsake any of us;
• A new beginning: Reaching the final checkpoint at Citywalk (荃新天地) served as a powerful reminder that we enter a new heaven and a new earth in Christ.

The session wrapped up with praise and worship led by sister Samantha, followed by a closing prayer from brother Andy. The whole outing activity concluded at 7:00pm.

Praise the Lord for His leading ! Let us continue to follow Jesus, keep learning and growing ,and be strong and courageous, in Him.
