Baby Dedication 2026

Praise the Lord ! It is joyful that 3 families dedicated their children to the Lord at Hope Oasis today:
- Jun and Stephanie, with their son Theodore (柏饒)
- Sam and Vicky, with their daughter Sum Yu (芯予)
- Wah and Chung, with their son Man Fai (文輝) and daughter Sum Yi (心怡)
Pastor Gavin highlighted the spiritual significance of baby dedication, as summarized below:
- By submitting the children to God, this act acknowledges children as gifts from God and entrusts them to His loving care and protection.
- Parents acknowledge their responsibility to raise their children according to biblical teaching. By dedicating themselves to living out biblical principles, the impact of their faith and example will be passed on to their children.
- Baby dedication takes place in the church where parents acknowledge the importance of church community in nurturing their children’s spiritual growth and development.
The participating parents and children were invited onto the stage and mothers and fathers officially signed the dedication certificates. A joyful and lively children’s worship song filled the hall, while the screen displayed video highlights from the Baby Dedication Briefings and heartwarming family moments.
Following the signing of certificates by Pastor Gavin, each family captured a commemorative photo with him. In closing, Pastor Gavin invited the congregation to extend their hands in a united prayer over the families — praying the parents remain deeply rooted in God’s word, and their children grow up strong, healthy, and filled with divine wisdom.
Praise God for His grace and blessings ! As a family in Christ, let us continue to support these families and faithfully nurture the children in His way.
