Mother’s Day

Thank God for His wonderful, unique creation, our mothers, who loves us unconditionally. It was so heart-warming to see brothers and sisters coming to church with their mothers.

Brother Jack led an opening prayer followed by Brother Allen leading the congregation to an atmosphere of gratitude in praise and worship, appreciating the gift of joy and peace from the Lord.

Sister Ceres shared her testimony,she thanked God for her mother who brought them up with great love, patience and the fruit of the Spirit, setting a good example for them. And also she relied on God’s word in bringing up her kid too,he is now on the right track in following Jesus in the Youth Service. Mothers were then invited to the stage for appreciation, flower presentation and most important, a prayer of blessing.

Pastor Gavin preached Hebrew 11:23, titling: A mother who saw God’s Motherly n Fatherly love. God made us in His image. When we fully surrender and depend on God, we will live a victorious life, full of peace. He shared 3 points from the life of Moses’ mother, Jochebed:

1. God has a motherly compassion for His children

2. God has a Fatherly protection and saving Grace for His children

3. Reward of seeing God’s motherly and fatherly love

This woman had faith that God would help protect her son and that God was in control. Believe and you will receive.

Pastor Gavin was moved by the Holy Spirit to pray for mothers to receive God’s healing and His love.

Praise the Lord ! More people were added to the family of God. After the service, mothers were invited to take photos with family, enjoy cakes and tea that were prepared for them. From the laughter and smiles, we could sense the joy from their hearts, so blessed by the grace of God. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers.
