Youth 8th Anniversary

Jan 18, 2014

Praise The Lord for leading and nourishing the Youth group (SD3) in the past 8 years !

On this day,the Youth brothers and sisters, and friends gathered in the Hope Centre for a special activity.  We were given materials and entrusted with the mission of making as many miniature sheep as possible within a limited period of time, and the unit which made the most would get a prize.

The participants diligently assembled the sheep as instructed, like how God nourishes His own sheep.  In the end, the Young Professional Unit won the race.

Most importantly, the congregation had to find a place for the sheep to eat and rest. Sister Ivy and Brother Charles then took out a large blocks of green pasture beside still waters for the congregation to put their sheep to rest.  There were one more block than the current no. of units in the Youth Group, signifying the group’s hope to expand into another unit.

What a joyful and hopeful picture to see the green pasture full of the Lord’s sheep !

Then the congregation proceeded into the Youth Service.  During the sermon, Sister Ivy shared with the brothers and sisters the message of “Harvest with Joy”.  Sister Ivy shared that the harvest did not only mean to evangelise, but also meant those new bellievers did grow and bear fruits in Him.  She reminded the congregation that it was also important to reap the harvest of the lost sheep and to nourish the people of God. Praise the Lord for this wonderful message.

After the service, the congregation had a celebration dinner together and enjoyed a wonderful fellowship time.

Praise the Lord again for His blessings and anointing upon the Youth Group!
